Ciao!    We are Cinzia and Corrado, founders of Corrado Gelato: we want to bring a taste of Italy to Charlotte (NC). Our goal is to promote the authentic Italian gelato that is made from scratch every day, in small batches. We offer rotating flavors for gelato and sorbetto and we cater our product to your

party with your choice of flavors. We make our gelato using the finest quality ingredients, some of them local - fresh grass fed milk and cream from local farms - and some of them imported from Italy to offer you the most authentic experience when an international flight is not an option!

As a little boy Corrado used to help his father Giancarlo during the busy summer seasons. Giancarlo had opened his Gelateria in Modena - Italy - in 1975 "Gelateria Vignolese". After graduating and serving the military, Corrado started learning from him the art of gelato making. A lot has changed in the industry since then, customers' taste buds evolved over the years and the technology now available makes the work of the gelatiere easier but the passion that drives him is still the same.

Cinzia oversees the operations of the business. Being a gelato lover and enthusiast makes it easier for her to test new flavors.
